Yay! You booked me as your wedding photographer. Now what? Wedding ConsultationWedding Consultations are a great way to get to know each other and to give me the information I will need to know about your wedding day. We will sign your contract and get your retainer fee paid. These are usually lots of fun and we will get to gush about all of your wedding details and your relationship! If you are just to busy and would like to do things things over email, that is completely fine! Planning your Engagement Photo SessionAfter you have signed your wedding contract it is time to start planning your engagement session. Now is the time to think of what kind of location you would like and what you want to wear. Most couples bring a dressier outfit and a more casual outfit. Feel free to bring several options. I have a list of location ides if you are just drawing a blank. We can pick out a spot together that will work perfectly for you. If you have a place that is special to the two of you, it would be awesome to consider doing some of your photos there. If you didn't book a package with an engagement session, then I won't need anything from you until you have the wedding day timeline and specifics all ready to go. Your Wedding DayAs a wedding photographer, I have been to a few weddings. :) Generally, they all have a similar flow. If you have any questions about the timeline of you wedding feel free to ask! It is very important that there is enough time to take all of the photos you want to document your day. Some couples choose to do a "First Look" before the ceremony. This allows for us to get more photos of the bride and groom than you would have if you didn't do a first look. Either way is great. It is totally up to you as a couple. Each moment is special. Seeing each other as the bride walks down the aisle and seeing each other before the ceremony both have their own special feelings. On your wedding day we will usually start with the "Getting ready" photos of the bride and her bridesmaids and then the grooms and groomsman. After that we either do a first look and pictures of the almost married couple or formal photos of the bridesmaids and bride and groomsman and groom. Then it is time for your ceremony! I'll be up and around capturing the special memories on your wedding day. After your ceremony we will take family photos and bridal party photos and then photos of the newly married couple. Depending on the type of wedding, the reception is next! All weddings are different but it his helpful to have an idea of shots that are most important to you. I will be capturing every little detail and every special moment on your wedding day up until the minute you leave the wedding as a newly married couple. After the WeddingYou're all married! Now what! I just can't help it, so I will be emailing you some of my favorite photos for you to enjoy or to post to share with your family and friends. A week or two after the wedding, your images will be done and ready for you to have forever! I will send them over an online gallery which you will have access to for ten years. You can download the full resolution images right off the gallery onto your computer. I will start working on your wedding album if you ordered one! (highly recommend) Wedding albums are one of my favorite ways to print wedding pictures. After I get it created, I will send over the first draft to you via email and you will let me know of any changes you want made. After everything is finalized, I will send it to the printer and you will have it in 2-5 business days. I love all of my brides and grooms and they all become cherished friends. It is so special photographing weddings and being apart of such a special occasion. I love seeing families being created. Categories All
