This family was filled with five beautiful people! For the life of me, I couldn't keep the boys' names straight. I am usually REALLY good with names. They both have "C" names and they are both cute boys... I guess it just wasn't happening for me that day! I met Kacy and her family in real life the day of their family photography session! I love connecting with other photographers, and I am so glad to know Kacy now. I got the easy end of the deal since Kacy had to deal with my small child and toddler. I hope she loves her pictures as much as I love mine. Thanks Kacy! If you haven't scheduled your family picture session this year, I encourage you to do so! My family pictures brought me so much joy. It really is incredible pausing your family right then and there and making that moment a tangible memory that you will be able to look back on! I don't know if this is appropriate to share on this blog post, but I am going to do it anyway. I wrote this on May 21, 2014! It has been in my notes on my phone, and I want to share. My parents have an old metal handmade swing set in their back yard which my dad built as a farm boy. It's made from tires and rustic tractor seats and wood that probably needs replaced. It is beautiful to me. I think of the memories of three generations of children now. I wish that all the memories could be laid out in front of me when I go to a special place. The memories can replay in my head, but I wish I could see more. I wish I could see my dad teasing my aunts as they play, and my baby's precious laughing face as his dad pushes him in the tire swing. I grew up next to an old red barn. We played at the barn every chance we could making memories as siblings and cousins. We were mischievous sometimes! I don't have a picture captured from playing at the barn. It wasn't important to me then. I go in there today and my little sisters small bike is In there covered in dirt. Also her pink flowery flip flop. She lost her shoes a lot. Can you picture the memories made there? The exploring and discovering of old things? The make beleive and pretend play? I remember these sweet things, but what if I had an actual picture to giggle at and share with generations to come? It would make my memories that much more priceless. I know you have memories! Have you captured them in a photograph, or are they slipping away in your mind? We are surrounded by so much beauty created by God. I want to capture everything beautiful I see. You are beautiful because God created you. I love to capture the beauty of family, happiness, love and laughter. I love to share my photography with others so that others can have the opportunity to make a moment a tangible memory. Cherish your moments and cherish every picture you take. And, FINALLY, the Hughes family! Categories All
