Megan grew up in the town over from me! She was a cheerleader and so was I. I am a little bit older than her and was able to photograph her cheerleading team in 2013/2014. She started following my photography facebook page back then, and then asked me to take her wedding photos after her and Porter got engaged! They are getting married in just a couple weeks and I am super excited! We took their engagement pictures on Megan's grandfather's farm near Grace, Idaho. The sky was OUTSTANDING! We couldn't have asked for better scenery! Megan and Porter have so much fun together. We were driving Megan's grandpa's new ranger to our photography locations, and it wouldn't go more than 5 mph. We had no idea what was going on and Porter tried everything! About 45 minutes into the shoot, we called the cute grandpa and he told us to put our seat belts on and it would drive faster. We got a good laugh about that! Such an easy fix could have saved us from some snail paced driving. At the very end our our session the wind kicked in. It was a miracle that it was not windy the whole time! I actually loved the pictures we took in the wind! Congrats to Megan and Porter on their upcoming wedding! I am so happy you asked me to be your photographer! Categories All

I have gotten to spend time with some wonderful couples these past couple months. It's exciting for me to hear about how couples have met and fell in love. It always gets me thinking about how I met my husband and fell in love with him. It's so great spending life with someone you love so much who loves you so much back. :) We went to one of my favorite, easy to get to locations in a subdivision near by me here in San Tan Valley. You would never know that these were taken in a subdivision, especially in Arizona. It is sort of hard to find greenery in Arizona when most everything is always some sort of brown. I am excited to meet more engaged couples, get to know them and capture their engagement photos! Categories All This session is full of so many winning photos I couldn't contain myself! I wanted to share just the black and white pictures because they are my favorites, but the color images are just too good too. ;) Angela and Thomas had their anniversary pictures taken in 2014! We went to the Old Maine Building at ASU and I fell in love! I totally want to go back. Angela and Thomas had just the perfect outfits for the setting. Angela made the clothes herself. Can you even believe that?? She is so incredibly talented. I adore her and Thomas so much. I have been friends with Angela for a lot of years now. We cheered together in high school! I have some silly memories with Angela. She is one of the people who can get you to laugh so very hard! She is funny, classy, hilarious, genuine and kind. I am super excited that she now lives closer to me so I can go visit her! I can't wait to do pictures for her little family again. Thank you Angela and Thomas! You guys ROCK! Categories All Here is that location again! Do you recognize it!?
Meet Bryten and Nic! We had a lot of fun at an early morning engagement mini session at the perfect mini session location. Nic even got attacked by a very small puppy! Okay, he didn't get attacked. He did get licked... A lot! I had them laying on the grass for one final pose and the cutest tiniest puppy really liked Nic! When I found out Bryten was getting married I immediately asked her if I could take her engagement pictures! I have been visiting teaching Bryten for maybe a year now, so I wanted to do a little mini session for her as a visiting teaching gift. Bryten is such a cool girl, and I have loved going over to their home every month or so and visiting with her and her mom. We only had about twenty minutes to capture some engagement pictures. They are getting married just a couple of days before Christmas. She already has her dress picked out and some cute colors. I love weddings and can't wait to see her as a bride. Congrats on your upcoming wedding Bryten and Nic! |
